Our candidates, Johnston, Schmidt, Brown, and Digiacomo, have received support from both Republicans and Democrats because of their neutral, student-focused, and non-political approach to serving as school directors.
While they may appear on the ballot as Democrats this November, that's only due to Pennsylvania’s election laws, which require candidates to file under a party to appear on the ballot. Pennsylvania is one of the few states that doesn’t allow true nonpartisan school board races — but make no mistake, these candidates are committed to representing everyone, not a political agenda.
